Trail Overview
A 3.5-mile trail parallels the east bank of the Hackensack River from its southern terminus at Terhune Park north to Brett Park. A few hundred feet away is a Revolutionary War site -- Historic New Bridge Landing, also the location of the Steuben House. Much of the pathway is along the river, and Indian Pond at Andreas Park is a particularly beautiful spot for viewing wading birds. But several sections have yet to be completed requiring the use of local streets.
Use the Web Map link on this site for an unofficial trail map displaying its various segments near the river and on roadways.
